Hosted by the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Georgia Justice Project, join us on Friday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to learn impactful strategies for effectively representing criminalized survivors of abuse and trauma. Topics include:
- Litigation strategy under the Survivor Justice Act (pre-trial and post-conviction)
- Effectively working with expert witnesses
- Storytelling and developing a compelling narrative of abuse
- Trauma-Informed Practice
Please note:
- Lunch and CLE fees are included!
- If you do not need CLE credit, or work in an attorney's office but are a non-attorney (such as a paralegal, investigator, or social worker), please select the rate for those who don't need CLE credit.
- CLE credit approval pending. Credit can only be given to Georgia lawyers, not lawyers from other states.
- This event is only open to individuals who work in an attorney's office. Please do not register if you are of any other discipline or are employed by any prosecutorial office.
- No refunds after Friday 2/13. You may transfer your registration to another person until Monday 2/23 by contacting Fynn Grindle, GCADV Communications Manager, at fgrindle@gcadv.org.
