Looking for a unique and rewarding way to give back to your community? As a special constable, you’ll volunteer alongside regular police officers to help fight crime, protect the public, and build trust within Surrey’s communities.

Join us in person in the Morning Room at Pippbrook House, Dorking on 31st January 2026 from 10.00 am for an information event all about the role of special constable (volunteer police officer). You’ll learn what the role involves and hear first-hand experiences from serving specials.
We will explain our eligibility requirements, the application process and our training programme. Please have your questions ready – we’ll be ready to answer them!
