Stitch and Bitch at Sea!

Bring a sewing/fiber work in progress on the interisland ferry! All fiber art is welcome, whether it is a mending project, a quilt, crochet, knitting, embroidery, or anything else you can work on on the go.

Walk on and make the loop around the islands, and be ready to spend about 2-3 hours on the ferry. Lopez Island quilter and previous Alchemy AIR, Lily Nash, facilitates this group and can help troubleshoot your project from 10:30am-1:25pm. Lily will have basic sewing supplies on hand for those who need it and will give different demos each session.

$20 suggested donation. Registration is encouraged but not required. Find your inter-island sewing community!

Class Schedule: We meet every other Sunday on the interisland ferry. Winter dates are 1/4, 1/18, 2/1, and 2/15. Class times vary depending on when you board the ferry, so be aware that the times listed on the ticket page may not reflect your own time on the ferry. We are trying this out on a bi-weekly schedule and depending on how it goes, will be adding more dates for March and beyond!

Disembark the Ferry:
Orcas - 12:50pm
Shaw - 1:05pm
Lopez - 1:25pm
Friday Harbor - 2:15pm

Registration: Please register early if you are able, as it helps us to assure that programs meet their minimums in order to run and it gives us an opportunity to plan!
