The STEM Fest is a unique event hosted by New Tech High School. They partner with area colleges, businesses, and organizations to fill their campus with STEM activities. The students at New Tech also plan and execute their own STEM booths. They will have over 50 STEM activities!
The event will be inside of New Tech High School. They open at 9:00 AM, take a lunch break from 11:00 - 11:30 AM, and then will be open again from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
- You can leave to grab lunch, or eat a packed lunch outside/in your vehicle during the lunch break. You're welcome to come and stay all day, or come at whatever time you'd like. (Last year we just went during the last 2 hours, and we never made it out of the gym, because there were so many things to do.)
- You do not need to check in with Whitney at this event, it is too hard to try to meet a group in this setting, but do please RSVP here so I can let them know how many to expect.
- When you come in, let them know you are part of the OpenEd group.
- Friends and family are welcome, it is free. Please RSVP for your whole group, and I will turn it in for us.
- You will need to keep your children with you during this event while you go from booth to booth. If you haven't been to this before, it's a HUGE hit for my kids. They look forward to it all year.
