Spring Photowalk with Celie

Hi, I'm Celie - a Photographer & Filmmaker who finds great peace in the outdoors.

Join me for a Spring Photowalk around Rodden Meadow in Frome where you'll experience 2 hours of mindful observation, offline connection and creative practice.

Through my love of nature and photography, I have learned that the best camera is the one you have on you.

Bring your phone, DSLR or compact camera and I’ll help you document what catches your eye with it.

This Photowalk is an opportunity for you to:

• Practice being at peace with nature
• Fill your creative cup
• Meet other people seeking a slower pace of life

What to expect:

• We’ll meet at the top of Willow Vale (where it meets North Parade) and get to know each other
• Get into a relaxed and inspired headspace through a short grounding exercise
• Be guided through techniques to observe your surroundings with more intention
• Learn what to pay special attention to when taking photos, with insight into storytelling and technical processes
• You’ll have the opportunity to ask me any questions as we go and I'll offer 1:1 photography support
• We'll finish by chatting about our experience and learnings over a cup of tea, and share the images we made (if we'd like to!)

These photowalks are not about making perfect photos, they’re about connecting with yourself and the world around you by combining the magic of art and nature.

P.S. This event is held wholly outdoors, so make sure you're prepared for the British spring - bring warm layers and good shoes in case of a drizzle!
