Spring at Tarn Hows is nature stretching its arms after a long winter. New greens. Soft blossom. Reflections sharp enough to double the world. It’s a gift for photographers.
This workshop is all about slowing down and tuning in to the landscape. We’ll explore how to capture the balance between wide, sweeping views and intimate nature details. Think textured bark, delicate leaves, ripples on water and big skies rolling over the fells.
You won’t just be pressing buttons. You’ll be learning how to see.
There’s guidance throughout, plus practical tips you can use on every countryside walk from here on in.
DSLR, mirrorless, and bridge cameras ans phones are all welcome.
Tripods are welcome but optional.
Expect fresh air, gentle walking, honest advice and those small breakthrough moments when a scene clicks into place in your viewfinder.
Spring skies can be dramatic. Cloud often adds depth and mood. If conditions are unsafe, you’ll be offered a voucher for another workshop or a refund.
More nature and landscape workshops across Cumbria are planned. Get in touch and I’ll point you in the right direction. sheenahkershaw@gmail.com
