SHZE-HUI TJOA
Shze-Hui Tjoa is a Singaporean writer living in Edinburgh. Her debut, The Story Game (Tin House Books / Faction Press), is a genre-bending memoir about sisterhood, c-PTSD, and having been a child musician. It was recognised in its release season by The New York Times and Between the Covers podcast, and named one of Electric Literature’s and Paste Magazine's best nonfiction books of 2024.Shze-Hui is a Nonfiction Editor at Guernica and Adi Magazine, where she brings writers from different backgrounds into conversation. She has received support from arts organisations in Singapore, Morocco, Portugal, and the USA.
MYLE YAN TAY
Myle Yan TAY is a playwright, fiction writer, essayist, comic book writer, and critic. His debut novel, catskull, won Book of the Year and Best Literary Work at the Singapore Book Publishers Awards. His plays "Statement Piece" and "Brown Boys Don't Tell Jokes" were staged by Checkpoint Theatre; the latter was nominated for four Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards, including "Best Production" and "Best Script." He co-hosts "Comic Sans," produced by Andas Productions, an award-winning podcast about comics for those who are sans knowledge.
