Speed Dating in The City | Ages 50 to 65

Meet up to 18 potential partners in the 50–65 age group at our popular, relaxed, and super-social evening of introductions, hosted by It’s a Date — London’s #1-rated dating events company.

Set in the heart of The City, just moments from Liverpool Street Station, The Otherist offers an elegant yet relaxed setting. Its spacious, comfortable sunken lounge provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of new connections. With chilled music, a friendly atmosphere, an awesome host (although we’re biased), and excellent service from the venue team, this is a genuinely fun and welcoming event.

Your host will be at the venue from 19:30 to welcome you. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab a drink from the bar, and to receive a brief overview of how the evening will run. You’ll be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and a note card to help keep track of everyone you meet.

Ladies will be seated at discreetly numbered tables, comfortably spaced within the venue. When speed dating begins, gents will rotate between tables for 5-minute dates, giving you the chance to get to know each other. Your host will signal the end of each date and guide the rotations in ascending numerical order.

Between each date, you’ll have a moment to jot down your thoughts and whether you’d like to reconnect — for your reference only.

Midway through the evening, there will be a 15-minute comfort break to use the facilities, visit the bar, or socialise more freely. The dating rounds will then resume for the second half of the event.

Once the dating rounds are complete, the bar will remain open for relaxed socialising. Later, simply log in to your dashboard to leave feedback and see your matches — created when interest is mutual — so you can continue the conversation at your own pace.
