Start your week grounded. Gentle somatic yoga in a cosy yurt with log burner. Find ease, strength & connection. Mondays 9:30am. All welcome.

Monday mornings don't have to feel heavy.

What if, instead of rushing into the week, you began it by coming home to yourself?

Join me every Monday morning at 9:30am for Somatic Yoga in The Yurt in Clowne – a gentle, grounding practice where you can shed the weight of what's been, and step into the week feeling connected, resourced, and present.

Your Invitation

Picture this: You arrive in the crisp morning air. You step through the yurt door into warmth – the glow of the log burner, the quiet hum of presence. You unroll your mat, take a breath, and for the next hour, there's nowhere else you need to be.

This is your time. Your space. Your practice.

Through slow, intentional movement and breath awareness, you'll reconnect with your body – finding length where there's been tightness, strength where there's been fatigue, and ease where there's been tension.

Somatic yoga isn't about achieving the perfect pose. It's about listening. Feeling. Returning to yourself, again and again.

What You'll Experience

  • Gentle somatic movement that honours your body exactly as it is today
  • Breath work to ground you and settle your nervous system
  • A cosy, intimate space with a crackling log burner and room for just 14 people
  • Connection – to your body, your breath, and the quiet wisdom that lives within you
  • Permission to move slowly, to rest, to simply be

This practice is for all bodies, all experience levels, all genders. Whether you've been practising yoga for years or have never set foot on a mat, you belong here.

The Setting

The Yurt at Clowne is more than a beautiful space – it's a sanctuary. Tucked away this cosy haven offers the perfect blend of nature's grounding energy and the comfort of warmth and shelter.

The log burner creates a nurturing cocoon where you can let go of the outside world and turn inward.

There's something about a yurt – the circular space, the soft light, the warmth – that invites you to soften, to slow down, to remember what it feels like to be held.

About Your Guide

I'm Angie Pond – a somatic coach and yoga teacher who believes your body holds profound wisdom. With certifications including BWY yoga and Level 4 Yoga & Breathwork teaching, I create spaces where people feel safe to explore, to feel, and to reconnect with themselves.

My approach is gentle, grounded, and rooted in the belief that you don't need to fix yourself – you need to come home to yourself. This practice is an invitation to do exactly that.

Begin Your Week Differently

Imagine starting every Monday not with dread, but with presence. Not with tension, but with ease. Not disconnected, but deeply rooted in yourself.

That's what this practice offers.
