Snazzify your clothing! Bring items to mend and upcycle

Come join us at DoES Liverpool for a fun few hours of revamping your wardrobe! Got clothes and accessories that need a little TLC? Bring them along, and let's mend and upcycle them together.

A range of fabrics (including tea towels!), trimmings, buttons and beads will be provided, however if you have anything you want to bring to snazzify your garment with, bring them along too!

You will learn how to apply textiles onto your clothing in creative ways as well as learn some basic hand sewing techniques like running stitch and whip stitch - everything you need to ensure your scraps stay onto your clothes.

Not only is it planet friendly to upcycle as you’re prolonging the life of your clothing, but you will leave the workshop feeling confident to carry on upcycling your clothes at home!

Previous sewing experience is not necessary as this will be taught, and all equipment and materials will be provided.

What to bring:

• A piece of clothing and/or textile accessories (a tote bag for example!) you want to add textiles and trimmings too. Any extra trimmings you want to add to your items.
