Learn to identify, understand, and address problem behavior with MTSS-based, evidence-backed strategies for positive classroom support.

Join the Diagnostic Center North presenters — Tara Zombres, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and Natalie Corona, Licensed Educational Psychologist — for a training focused on identifying, understanding, and intervening with problem behaviors in the classroom.

Through real-world examples and case studies, participants will explore the steps to creating a classroom environment rich in positive behavior supports. The session will cover evidence-based positive behavior intervention strategies and supports within the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework. Strategies will address how to support the wide range of problem behaviors that students may exhibit across various classroom settings.

Participants will:

  • Increase understanding of why students engage in problem behavior.
  • Receive specific guidance on implementing positive behavior strategies within the classroom using the Prevent, Teach, Reinforce model.
  • Create an action plan to enhance classroom-wide positive behavior supports.

Target Audience:

  • Special Education Teachers
  • Special Education Providers
  • General Education Teachers supporting students with behaviors
  • School Administrators
