Myself, along with my sister Cassie, my niece Demi, and colleagues from In-Comm Training, will be taking on a Skydive Challenge on Thursday 7th May to raise money for In-Comm’s chosen charity of the year – Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) operates and funds three air ambulances, covering six counties: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, and the West Midlands.
Each year, it costs £16 million to keep these three aircraft in the air and provide their lifesaving service.
The charity receives no funding from the Government or the National Lottery for its daily missions, relying entirely on the generosity of local people and businesses.
Since 1991, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has responded to over 80,000 missions, making it one of the busiest air ambulance services in the UK.
