Synopsis
Icarus: The Musical follows the story of Icarus, a young boy who aspires after his father, Crete’s greatest inventor, Daedalus. But with the death of the Minotaur and escape of the Athenians, Daedalus falls prey to King Minos’ cruel revenge — forcing father and son to learn to trust one another.
Follow Icarus as he learns to spread his wings, and Daedalus confronts his painful past. Icarus is a daring retelling of a tragedy that breathes life and new meaning into a timeless tale.
A brand-new musical conceptualised, written and produced all by SJI’s own students! With original songs, casting, and an original production, Icarus: The Musical is a daring retelling of the timeless greek myth.
