Echoes of the unknown is a project redefining contemporary music and sound healing in sacred space.

Longing & Devotion

A concert bringing together artists from different musical backgrounds and folk traditions, this time exploring the moods of Indian and Portuguese musical styles.

Musicians will include Alex Dmochowski (wind instruments) and Catarina Carvalho (vocals), alongside guest Amritha Thankachy playing tanpura and vocals from the classical Carnatic tradition.

This is a silent concert with no talking and no clapping in the space - a space for you to BE. To go inwards and tune in to your senses.

WHAT TO BRING

Honouring the full moon the day after the event, we invite and encourage you to bring a journal to reflect on the month that has passed and the journey that lies ahead.

OUR GOAL

We aim to bring awareness about styles and playing techniques and explore how different genres can merge and work in harmony. Expect new, improvised soundscapes and meditation music.

We promote inclusivity and community by bringing different musical styles and instruments together: celebrating music from around the world!
