The Opening Press Conference of SIFFA 2025 brings together filmmakers, cultural partners, and members of the media to unveil the vision, programme, and themes of this year’s edition.
Inspired by the humanistic philosophy of Dario Salas Sommer, SIFFA 2025 celebrates independent cinema as a platform for creative dialogue and moral reflection.
Serving as the epigraph of the festival, the event will include a special screening of the short documentary Temptation by Civilization — a thought-provoking exploration of the fragile balance between humanity and modern society. Through the insights of Dario Salas Sommer and other leading thinkers, the film poses timeless questions about ethics, identity, and the moral foundations of civilization.
