RULES OF THE ROAD

The aim of this session is to provide a basic introduction to International Rules for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea (IPRCS).

We will:

• Consider 'Right of way' vessels
• Procedure for 'give way' vessels
• Procedure for 'stand on' vessels
• Procedure for sailing boats
• Collision avoidance

This session is suitable for both sailors and non sailors, without getting too complicated, and will give you the opportunity to ask questions.
