We’re bringing together 60+ of the area’s most epic musicians to throw down the biggest chart-toppers of ’86 in one high-energy, blow-the-roof-off night. And it’s not just a killer party; it’s all to support music education for underserved Delaware youth, helping the next generation find their sound.

Changing Lives Through Music

Shine A Light is an annual benefit concert that has been held in Wilmington since 2012. One of the hottest nights of the year, this fundraiser features 60-70 of the area's best musicians performing a night of fan-favorite songs from a featured theme. All ticket sales directly support grant funding initiatives from The Light Up the Queen Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting high-quality music education programs for Delaware's underserved youth. In 2025, The Light Up the Queen Foundation was able to grant $75,000 for music education programs at seven local nonprofit organizations.

Enjoy the show with premium amenities! The basic VIP package includes:

• Early access to the venue
• 2-hour exclusive pre-party

• Balcony access and direct-from-the-balcony access to the exclusive VIP pit in front of the stage

Seating is not included with the basic VIP package. For those wanting reserved seats, an upgraded Seated VIP package is available.

Accessibility

The Queen offers a seated, wheelchair-accessible ADA section during the show. Before purchasing tickets, please call the venue directly to discuss the accommodations you need and how to check in the night of the show. The box office is open Wednesdays from 2-6pm and can be reached at 302-400-7020.
