Sessions at Stained Glass Vol. 17 | Larry Koonse

Sessions at Stained Glass is a monthly concert series from the music studio of Peter Smith. For vol.17, we will feature seasoned Los Angeles guitarist, Larry Koonse. Larry has been a staple of the west coast jazz scene for decades, and is a master of melody and swing. He's played with so many greats: Mel Torme, Ray Brown, Billy Childs, Bob Brookmeyer, just to name a handful. Rounding out the band will be the wonderful Darek Oleszkiewicz on bass, and masterful drummer, Joe LaBarbera. To be able to play in a rhythm section with such seasoned and accomplished players will indeed be my privilege!

There will be light refreshments served, free of charge.

Stained Glass Music Studio is located in the First Baptist Church of Pasadena. Parking meters are not enforced on Sunday. Alternately, you can park in the garage at 150 E. Holly Street 91101. You can park in any blank spot or any spot marked "First Baptist Church." Bring in your garage ticket for validation. Someone will meet you at the front door on Marengo and guide you upstairs. Important*: there are two short flights from the second floor (8 steps each) up to the studio, which are unavoidable. There is no elevator access to the space itself.
