Science Writer’s Book Club: February
We’re starting our first book club of the year with a fiction read. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir came so highly recommended by a biologist and fellow science writer, it had to immediately make it to the top of our ‘to read’ list. Also had to make sure to read it before the upcoming film adaptation release this March! It’s a hard science fiction novel about a molecular biologist who wakes up and finds himself the sole survivor on a space mission.
Come with your thoughts on the book, or just to listen and meet fellow science writers. No pressure to finish the book beforehand, though it would help to get the discussion going!
Tickets are free, but places are limited, so please only book if you can attend.
