Presenting Savage Circus: Vaudeville of the Absurd, a working circus environment where the performance is already in motion and unfolds as one continuous live event.
Throughout the night, live circus acts like strong men, contortionists, jugglers, comedians, and more move through the room, interrupt scenes, reshape transitions, and sometimes take over entirely.
Within are five ten-minute veteran-authored comedies by Celeste Amidon, Jean Ciampi, Daniel Guyton, Christopher Paul Meyer, and Ariana Rose. Our Veteran authored comedies emerge out of the circus activity and dissolve back into it, sharing performers, space, and momentum.
Presenting Sir Richard Castle (Bradford Scobie), internationally acclaimed burlesque host and star of Naughty Little Show at The Slipper Room.
Presenting Miss Maybell & Her Ragtime Romeos, masters of Early Jazz, Ragtime, and Blues, reviving century-old sounds for today’s audiences. Featured on Person Place Thing, they’ve packed iconic stages from Birdland to Lincoln Center and built an international following with viral acclaim.
Presenting Amazing Amy, a 71-year-young yoga contortion dance artist performing astonishing feats of flexibility despite multiple major injuries and hip replacements.
Presenting Mike Weiss, competitive strongman, powerlifter, and clown combining elite feats of strength with masterful physical comedy. Blending raw power and emotional vulnerability, he delivers a one-of-a-kind performance that’s as heartfelt as it is jaw-dropping.
