Join Alchemy Film & Arts to mark the 60th anniversary of the first ever Hawick Pictorial, made by Hawick Film Group to capture the town's 1965 highlights on film.

We are delighted to announce that the 1965 Pictorial will be preceded by Sons of Heroes (1964), the dramatisation of Hawick's 1514 Battle of Hornshole, following its restoration last year.

The film has been newly digitised and is screening as part of Oor Ain Film Archive, Alchemy's new film preservation and screen heritage project celebrating Scottish Borders communities on film through the BFI Screen Heritage Fund, awarding National Lottery funding.
