Safety Beyond Compliance is an immersive, interactive conference designed to elevate fleet safety standards well beyond regulatory requirements. This unique event brings together fleet leaders, national and local government, major safety NGOs, emergency services, and the wider automotive and transport sectors for a full day of collaboration, insight, and hands-on learning.

Developed by Visie Communications and Fleet Vision International, in partnership with FORS, Driving for Better Business, and Together for Safer Roads, as a precursor to Fleet Vision International – THE SHOW 2026, the conference aims to advance safety culture across all fleet operations. Safety Beyond Compliance has grown from a small roundtable into a standalone event due to industry demand for deeper engagement, clearer guidance, and more meaningful cross-sector cooperation.

The programme is built around a real-world scenario that directly affects operator compliance, driver wellbeing, insurance costs, and the ability to maintain an O' Licence. The morning features a highly interactive public inquiry into a complex bridge-strike accident, based on a real-life incident, involving a traffic commissioner, a barrister, and an O' Licence holder. Delegates will review evidence, question legal and compliance experts, cast verdicts, and explore how decisions are reached by Traffic Commissioners and courts, followed by immersive workshops evaluating learnings from the trial and interactive safety demonstrations involving the latest simulators and safety technology.

Safety Beyond Compliance is FREE to attend for fleet managers, safety and government organisations, and end users in the fleet management sector. Commercial organisations with an interest in selling automotive and safety products that are not exhibiting will be charged a fee of £500 plus VAT to attend.
