Join Sporting Communities and Virtual Decisions for an interactive training session. The training workshop brings together technology, education, and community work to tackle youth related issues and promote safer environments for young people.

This session combines Sporting Communities’ Safer Sports initiative, focused on creating inclusive, trusted, and positive sporting spaces, with Virtual Decisions: IDENTITY, a cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) experience developed with the West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership.

Participants will step into the immersive Virtual Decisions: IDENTITY environment, inwhich the programme will be used as a catalyst to explore health, wellbeing, identity, and behaviour, helping participants and young people connect more authentically. Using this as a foundation, the training builds skills in safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and youth engagement, equipping attendees to confidently support and protect young people in their community settings.
