Rose Revival Public Hearing - Morehead

Join the Kentucky Student Voice Team  for our third Rose Revival Hearing in Morehead! This event will spotlight the urgent crisis of Kentucky’s teacher shortage. Educators in Kentucky are paid less than the national average, have less professional development opportunities and are under constant pressure from political forces. The hearing will focus on concrete solutions to ensure every student has access to qualified, supported and inspiring educators.

Students, educators, and community members will hear from expert witnesses on the challenges and solutions for strengthening the teacher pipeline and improving teacher wellness. KSVT student examiners will lead questioning, and attendees will have opportunities to participate in a Q&A.

We invite all Kentuckians interested in helping our state’s educators.

This hearing is part of the Rose Revival Campaign’s statewide effort to uplift policy solutions to the allegations in the KSVT v. Commonwealth of Kentucky litigation. Join us to be part of the conversation and help shape the future of the teaching profession in Kentucky!
