St Peter's is delighted to welcome back internationally renowned baritone, Roderick Williams!!
He and his friends will be putting on two concerts on 14th December. This one is aimed at children, but all children must come with an adult; both children and adults need tickets.
Over the years, Roddy and his friends have treated us to many wonderful evenings of high-quality music and singing, and his return has been greatly anticipated.
Roderick Williams is one of the UK’s most sought-after baritones and is constantly in demand on the concert platform and in recital, encompassing repertoire from the baroque to world premieres. He was awarded an OBE for services to music in 2017.
He has performed with major orchestras worldwide, including the Berlin and New York Philharmonics, has been a regular at the BBC Proms, and sang at the coronation of King Charles III.
He is also a composer, with works premiered at venues like Wigmore Hall and the Barbican, and he composed music for the Coronation of King Charles III.
