👨🏫 In-person Workshop
📆 Saturday, October 25, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
We'll start with a 1.5 hour in-person session where you'll get an in-depth primer on riso printing, which will include some history & context, some technical instruction, and a printer demo.
- We'll go over the concept of color separations and how to use different methods to separate your artwork into layers for riso printing.
- You'll have a chance to create a collaborative test print and take home samples to get inspired by and swatches to reference.
- All tools and supplies you need will be provided.
👩🎨 Post-workshop Designing
📆 Sunday, October 26 - Saturday, November 1
You'll have one week after the in-person session to prepare your artwork (digital file or analog paste-up) to submit for printing using our provided templates.
- Get access to our drive of resources and templates.
- Pick from designing an 11"x17" poster/art print, a zine, or a special 'format of the month'.
- Choose up to 2 ink colors and use any of our selection of standard papers (pretty nice!) or upgrade to a premium paper stock (super fancy).
🖨 Print & Pick up
📆 Starting November 5
After you submit your artwork, we'll riso print and finish it (if it requires binding or trimming).
- Before we print, we'll check your submitted artwork to make sure it's set up properly. If it isn't you'll have one opportunity to fix it.
- When you come to pick up your items, if you love them and want additional copies (or hate them and want a re-do!), there will be an opportunity to do either for a small additional fee.
