Middle & high school leaders explore the shifts needed to prepare students for Indiana's new grad requirements before they reach 9th grade

A Breakfast Convening for Middle and High School Leaders

Purpose

Indiana’s newly adopted graduation requirements signal an important shift not only in student expectations, but in how schools must be structured to support those expectations. Preparing students for success under the new diploma pathway requires intentional changes to systems, counseling practices, and eighth-to-ninth grade transition planning.

This breakfast convening brings middle and high school leaders together to examine how schools must evolve to better prepare students and staff for ninth grade and beyond.

Takeaway Promise

Walk away with clarity on what must change in thinking, systems, and school structures to prepare students and staff for ninth grade under the new graduation requirements.

Who Should Attend

  • Middle and high school principals and assistant principals
  • School counselors and counseling leads
  • Leaders responsible for advising, scheduling, or academic planning
