During this fun workshop you will make a needle felted landscape approximately 21cm x 21cm using one of my unique pre-carded backgrounds.
You’ll find out the basic principles of how a felting needle works. How to safely and
effectively use both a multi needle felting tool and a single needle. How to lay down
a wool/fibre background and then add details to personalise and add interest to a
landscape.
By the end of the workshop you will take away a bluebell woodland landscape. You
can then add stitch work and other embellishments to it at home if desired or keep it
as it is.
The piece can be framed as a picture, used to make a book cover or an
embellishment for another project. You will also be able to take your single felting
needle in a piece of foam (please dispose of safely when broken).
All materials and tools will be provided. If people have their own multi tool they are
free to bring it along.
Due to the “Ready to Go!” background this is suitable for all abilities. Simple round
flowers can be made by beginners and more complex realistic details by more
skilled participants.
Please note: Min age 10 years but must be supervised by an adult if under 14years.
