Positive Dyslexia Assistive Technology Showcase
Join us in person for an inspiring day on the 16th April , dedicated to exploring the latest tech tools designed to support and empower those with dyslexia/ND. Discover new software and resources that make learning and being in school or employement easier and more enjoyable. Connect with experts, try out new assistive technologies, and share your experiences in a friendly, informal setting. Whether you have dyslexia or are simply curious, this showcase is a fantastic opportunity to see positivity and innovation in action!
We will have live demos from Aventio, Ivvi, Ayoa, Genio, Sensory App , Carescribe, Class labs , Douglas Stewart, DARA and many more for you to choose from. Dip in and out have lunch and network as well as picking up all that is new in the world of assistive technology. Timetable will be produced shortly.
We also have Lia Castiglione giving a one hour SASC accredited talk on recommending AT in EAA reports. The cost of the ticket includes attandance but the SASC certificate will be an additional cost. To be sure of your place on this talk reserve your certificate in advance. Only 30 places in this talk.
The first 100 tickets are only £15 plus vat to include buffet lunch and all refreshments.Futher information will be shared regarding timetable of demos etc.
As a special event we will be holding a dinner the night before ( April 15th) for a small number of guests who will have the opportunity to chat and dine in a more intimate setting. These tickets are limited and include accomodation for the 15th April and the entrance to the showcase on the 16th. There will be music and entertainment and an opportunity to make even deeper connections with experts in this field. A wine reception sponsored by Genio will be held before the meal and we are lucky to have Julia `Clouter singing for us. Tickets will need to be booked separately for this event and only 35 are available. You can book accomodation with the meal or the meal without accomodation.
