Pipe Dream Club Mini Retreat – January 2026

Pipe Dream Club is a creative mini-retreat for people at any stage of their creative journey. Whether you’re just starting out or picking up an idea you’ve been sitting on for a while, this is your space to focus and create.

Take a few hours out of your schedule to work on your project, share ideas, and connect with other creatives. No experience is needed, just bring your idea and get started.

This January session also includes a gentle 2026 vision board reset during the long break. Previous attendees have worked on projects ranging from blogs and business plans to novels and design ideas.

Why Join the Pipe Dream Club?

Struggling to find time for your creative project? Does your idea keep getting pushed to the bottom of the list? Pipe Dream Club is designed to help you move your idea forward in a focused but supportive setting.

You’ll get dedicated time to work on your project, structured creative sprints to build momentum, and the chance to connect with other creatives. Whether you’re writing, designing, planning, or experimenting, this is space to focus without distractions.

What to expect

  • Creative sprints: Quiet, focused periods where you can work on your project. To respect fellow attendees, projects should be non-disruptive.
  • Long break + vision board reset: During the long break, we’ll pause for a short reset and invite everyone to create a mini vision board for 2026. Materials will be provided, and the activity is gently guided. You’re welcome to take part at your own pace, or simply rest and recharge if you prefer.
  • Informal mingling: Time to connect with other creatives during breaks.
  • Inspiration materials: Resources to spark ideas and support your creative process.
  • Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and light snacks provided throughout the session.

The mini-retreat will take place at Elm House within Battersea Arts Centre — a calm, creative setting ideal for focused work.

What to bring

  • Your creative project or idea (from songwriting and poetry to knitting, illustration, or business planning)
  • Any materials or tools you’ll need to work on your project
