This hands-on workshop invites students to explore the power of recording your own story through the means of journaling and photography, both being mediums used to capture moments and memories. The workshop series will run for 8-weeks on every Wednesday starting January 14th and ending on March 4th from 6pm-7:30pm.
WORKSHOP SUMMARY:The Photo-journaling workshop is a hands-on experience inviting attendees to explore the power of recording their own story through the means of
journaling and photography, both being mediums used to secure memories.
Each week students will be challenged to document their observations, feelings, and realities with imagery and written word.
Throughout the timeline of the workshop students will be prompted and guided by their instructor, local documentary photographer Vicente Rondon, as they navigate their own personal histories through the pictures that they make and items they have collected, contributing to the legacy they desire to establish during the present, hopefully educating those in their future or providing a reference of evolution they can look back on.
