Hands on. You will be cooking with a small team in this class.

Age Restrictions

For ages 21 & up

Description

Join us for a meal that Julia would approve of. Working with a small team, you'll perfect your techniques as you make each recipe taken from her cookbooks. You'll pan fry a steak and make a sauce from the pan juices; bake a rich, layered, potato & cheese casserole; cook asparagus to perfection and whip up a hollandaise sauce spiked with orange juice and zest; and, for the piece de resistance, assemble a fresh strawberry tart. At the end of class, you'll sit down to enjoy each bite.

For ages 18 & up. 21 or older? You'll enjoy a glass of French wine paired with your meal.

ABOUT JULIA CHILD

This American cookbook author, cooking teacher, and television personality made French cuisine accessible to the American public with the publication of her first cookbook, Mastering the Art of French Cooking. In fact, many attribute our current interest in varying cuisines and techniques to her passion for cooking and the arts of the table.
