Join us for the first Pencil Club Stop, a calm and welcoming sketch session hosted at The Common.
Pencil Club is not a workshop or class. This is a low-pressure space where you’re invited to pause, sketch, and create at your own pace; whether you’re continuing a project or starting something new.
We work with pencils as our core medium because they are simple, affordable, and easy to return to. You can bring your own tools, or choose a ticket that includes Pencil Club Essentials (sketchbook, pencil, charcoal, rubber, sharpener) - a small tin with everything you need to draw during the session and continue your practice beyond it.
At The Common, you’re welcome to order a drink or something to eat from the venue, a small way to support a local business while you’re here. Pencil Club members receive 10% off food and drink during the session.
This Pencil Stop is open to all genders and all levels of experience.
Pencil Club is curated by Tasnim (The Graphite Botanist) and Sej (Girls Who Walk Leicester), bringing together artistic practice and community care to create a calm, inclusive space.
Pause. Practice. Presence.
