Pembroke Park Open Day

We warmly invite parents, carers, young people and professionals to join us to learn more about our new school, scheduled to open in September 2026.

Compass Community School Pembroke Park is a new specialist school for learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The school has been designed around a clear, careful principle: when learners feel secure, understood and believed in, they are better able to re-engage with learning and begin to look ahead with confidence.

The open day will provide an opportunity to meet members of the leadership team, learn more about the school’s approach, and ask questions in an informal, welcoming setting. Light refreshments will be available throughout the event.

As the school is still in development, the event will take place at the Holiday Inn - Colchester, Abbotts Lane, Colchester CO6 3QL. It will be on Saturday 7th March and will be split into two sessions:

• 10:00am–11:30am – Local authorities and professionals
• 12:30pm–2:00pm – Prospective parents and carers
