PE Conference 2026

Headteachers, PE leaders, well-being leads, SENCOs, and other professionals supporting PE and school sport are invited to the Doncaster PE and Sports Conference. This is an excellent opportunity to reserve your place for a day focused on supporting PE and school sport in Doncaster. Full details of the programme, including speakers and workshops, will be shared closer to the event.

With the support of local partners, this conference aims to provide guidance and support to help PE leaders navigate their role effectively and ensure that PE is integral to the culture of the wider school.

There is currently a lot of change and uncertainty at a national level around physical education. This conference will help PE leaders cut through the noise, navigate changes, and focus on what will have the biggest impact on the pupils they serve.

PLEASE NOTE: PE and Sport Premium funding can be used to purchase your ticket as it supports KPI 1 of the Premium and the professional development of school staff.

You can also use your PE & Sport Premium to pay for cover and release staff to attend CPD events IF the member of school staff was due to teach PE originally in school at that time.

E.G - If a teacher was due to teach PE all day in school but needed to go to an all-day PE conference, then the PE and Sport Premium could be used for cover teaching. But for example, if the member of school staff was only due to teach 1 hour of PE on that day, then the PE and Sport Premium could be used to pay for 1 hours cover teaching. The rest of the day must be covered by school supply budgets.
