PDBKA Introduction to Beekeeping 2026

Learn something about bees and bee keeping and decide if you want to continue on and take Petersfield & District Beekeepers complete Beekeeping course for beginners.

This introductory session introduces you to bees and beekeeping, giving you the opportunity to meet beekeepers and ask questions before deciding if you want to continue on to our Beginner's Training Course.

The 4 week follow on Complete Beekeeping course for Beginners then starts with theory sessions on Sunday 22nd February, Sunday 1st March, Sunday 8th March and Sunday 22nd March. You then continue your training by getting practical experience with our bees at the association's apiary starting in April.

There will be a separate eventbrite sign up for this and the cost will be £55 including membership of the Petersfield and District Beekeepers Association.
