Overlook EP Release Show

Join Makk at the Cardigan Arms on 19 February 2026 for the official launch of the Overlook EP—an alt-folk journey inspired by the haunting score of The Shining, blending eerie hotel corridors, warm analogue textures, and dreamlike storytelling. You’ll hear the EP live in full, including current singles "Overthinking" and "Ghost," as well as the upcoming release "Home."

With Makks intimate vocals, lush strings, and atmospheric keys, and the full band lineup of David Mills-McEvoy (Makk) on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Harry Stobart on drums, David Bullock on bass, Dexter Duffy-Howard on violin, and Lilla Hall on keys/synths, you’ll be fully immersed in the Overlook era. Plus, enjoy a set from indie-folk singer-songwriter Anneka Shelley to open the evening.
