An evening with Nicola Field
Our opening session of the weekend series is an informal private view of the exhibition pop up.
You are invited to join a conversation exploring the context of the artworks in Nicola’s Our Emotions Are Real series, sharing ideas for the future of the participatory, touring project, and a chance to experiment with workshop materials.
Warming seasonal refreshments will be available for guests, booking early is advised.

OUR EMOTIONS ARE REAL
A weekend pop-up exhibition, open creative space and workshops for you to choose from!

3 days of chilled creativity featuring themes of kinship, identity, and playfulness. Book a workshop or do your own thing - your choice...
The activity series setting and intention is one of inclusive, peaceful and non judgemental connection where you can:
- Try a self-portrait (with or without your eyes closed!)
- Draw your dreams
- Relax and look at the trees
- Map out a better world
- Make a protest poster
- Dress up as your favourite character - invent a new one!
- Put your art on the walls
Materials will be available as well as access to the pop up exhibition - OUR EMOTIONS ARE REAL - a collection of wild, neurodivergent paintings by London AuDHD artist, activist, event creator (and SEACC regular) Nicola Field (she/they).
Suitable for everyone who likes to draw, doodle, experiment and be creative with others in safe, inclusive spaces.
- All abilities and ages are welcome, though we ask that artists under 14 are accompanied by an adult.
- The venue is mobility aid friendly, with level access entrances and facilitites for wheelchair users. Guests are encouraged to get in touch to discuss any specific requests as we aspire to create a truly inclusive and accessible environment.
- Parking is available though there is no ability to reserve spaces for guests.
- We will be taking photos during the event series, however would like to assure guests that opting out of being included will be made clear and respected at all times.
