Discover the thrill of orienteering

Join our one day beginner workshop led by our experienced coaches and gain the skills and confidence to navigate with a map.

This fun day teaches you the basics of orienteering including:

Understanding an orienteering map
Using a compass
Techniques to navigate a course on a map

By the end of this day you will have the skills and confidence to take part in an orienteering event. There are 3 active and friendly clubs in and around Inverness - Inverness Orienteering Club, Moravian Orienteers and Badenoch and Strathspey Orienteering Club, so plenty to choose from no matter where you are! No prior knowledge or experience required – just a sense of adventure. All physical activity at whatever level you choose.
