Discover the ideas behind Video Craft at a special Opening Day Artist Talk.

Join Video Craft curators Ariel Zaccheo and Sarah Mills in conversation with exhibiting artists Kate Nartker, Kelly Egan, and Kira Dominguez Hultgren for a behind-the-scenes look at the ideas and processes shaping the exhibition. Together, they will explore how video and traditional craft practices inform one another, and how artists working across these media bring new material awareness to screen-based technologies.

Nartker, Egan, and Dominguez Hultgren move between weaving, sculpture, digital media and video art. The discussion will center on craft as a tactile and time-based experience, and on what happens when hand-based processes meet the moving image.

Tickets include museum admission. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to explore the exhibition. The panel begins at 1:30 PM, with additional time to view Video Craft following the discussion.
