This is more than a dance. It is a space to be ourselves and to connect with others, to embrace all that emerges and to step into the weekend feeling energised and inspired.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Experienced and passionate ecstatic dance DJs

Our aim is to create a warm, welcoming and inclusive community, as we believe that human connection is essential for good health, especially in a big city like London, so we encourage you to stay on and socialise with us after the dance.

Our stunning venue, &Soul Sanctuary, hosts the Plant Greens kitchen, a beautiful space to relax, refuel and integrate your experience with fellow dancers.

When purchasing a ticket for the dance, you will also receive a 25% discount code for the Sensorium, a spa with sauna and cold plunge, which will be available for an hour after the dance.

WHAT TO BRING

• Layers of clothing for dancing and a change of clothes for later as you will get sweaty!
• Refillable water bottle (tap water will be provided)
• You may also want to bring a towel
• An open heart

GUIDELINES

• Please arrive by 11am so we can all journey together
• No prior experience necessary, all are welcome
• No set moves to learn or follow, just dance however your feel
• Dancing barefoot is ideal, but socks or dance shoes are also OK
• Half of the concrete floor will have matting for those preferring a softer surface
• Feel free to dance on your own or explore connection with others
• Be respectful of boundaries - seek permission before connecting
• Aim to avoid bumping into others and interrupting their flow
• No talking in the space and put your phones on mute (you can chat in the cafe)
• No drugs or alcohol to be consumed prior to or during the dance

WHO CAN ATTEND

• We welcome people from all ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, cultures, religions or lack of religion
• We welcome all ages from 16 +

• A few promotional shots will be captured sensitively during the morning
• You will have the opportunity to request exclusion from these

• Please take care of yourself and your belongings: you dance at your own risk
• We cannot be held responsible for any accidents or injuries
• If you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms please do not attend
• Refunds may be requested up to 3 days before the event
• By signing up, you confirm you have read and understood your responsibilities

Ecstatic dance is an opportunity to express yourself through movement.

After some initial guidance to awaken and mobilise your body, you will be invited to dance freely, on your own or with others - whatever feels good for you.

The live DJ set will journey through an ecstatic dance wave, comprising a range of music genres, helping you to move in different ways and experience a sense of release, connection, and presence.

ABOUT YOUR DJs

Jane Latham

Jane combines her lively enthusiasm for dance music and DJing, her years of training in spiritual and movement practices and experience as a psychotherapist to create a heart-led, energising and uplifting experience on the dance floor.

She intuitively weaves deeply emotive and expansive musical journeys, blending rich, soul-stirring soundscapes and global rhythms, rising to house and techno peaks, inviting you to shake off physical and emotional tensions and let go into movement – to feel fully alive.

Known for her Dancing Freedom woodland dances, she has also played at other events including Ecstatic Dance UK, Tribalheart, Rumble Festival.

Amaya Garcia

Known for weaving magic through sound, Amaya tells stories. Her sets which she calls “mystical and fun” are crafted to move you through a wide spectrum of emotions, unlocking the heart and awakening the soul.

Amaya blends medicine music, house, flamenco-infused sounds, trance and psytrance to create musical experiences. She also brings deep awareness of music’s effect on the nervous system, infusing her sets with energy, flow, and emotional depth.

Amaya has played at Buddhafield Festival, Rumble Festival, Ecstatic Dance Festival UK and various other events organised by Ecstatic Dance London. In Mexico she has played at Ecstatic Dance Playa and Somos Avalon.
