Once Upon a Parenting: stories for kids, insights for parents

Join us for a unique parent-child experience where storytime meets thoughtful discussion with Anoka Hennepin’s Early Childhood Family Education's (ECFE) PreK-Grade 3 program. While children enjoy listening to engaging books and creating fun crafts, parents explore practical strategies and insights for nurturing their child’s growth and emotional well-being with a focus on teaching and practicing problem solving skills with a parenting educator. Learn, reflect, and leave inspired!

This session features The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats and a winter-themed craft for children. The program is free; pre-registration is strongly encouraged to reserve your spot, only one registration needed per family. Capacity is limited to 15 families. It is geared toward ages 3–8 with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome. Parents may also attend without children.
