My husband, Lew McCreary, was a critically acclaimed author of literary and crime fiction, including Mount’s Mistake, The Minus Man, and The 13th Step. His short stories have appeared in Ploughshares and Solstice Literary Magazine. Alzheimer’s has robbed him of his ability to write—his talent and mastery of words stolen by this cruel disease. That loss is why this cause matters so deeply to me. Research, early detection, and access to clinical trials are critical.By raising awareness and funds, we move closer to the day when Alzheimer’s is preventable—and survivable.
Noir at the Bar: Memories & Mysteries will honor Lew's contribution to crime fiction and his love for the genre while raising money for this worthy cause.
