Join us at The LABoratory, a Ruby Devine Salon, in Alexandria, VA on Sunday, January 11, 2026 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m. for a look-and-learn experience from the No Filter Workshop series: Decipher the Photo & Build the Cut.
This class is all about how professionals translate inspiration into precision. You’ll watch two live demonstrations—one on a mannequin and one on a model—as Robert walks through how to analyze haircut photos, see underlying shapes, spot graduation, layering, and direction of movement, and understand what’s styling versus structure. You’ll watch each photo become a working diagram, then see the diagram come to life in the finished cut.
Expect Sunday Funday vibes—mimosas, bagels, coffee, and good conversation—as we come together to elevate our craft.
