Join the NHS Orkney School Health Team for a 5 week parenting course!
The Parenting Toolkit is a practical, accessible guide created for parents and carers who want to support their children’s development, build positive family relationships and feel more confident in their parenting role.It is designed to help you move from reacting to being reflective and intentional in how you parent. Course content will include Feelings, Looking after yourself, Play, parenting styles, problem-solving with your child and understanding behaviour, as well as other topics.
Who is it for?
- Parents, carers and guardians of children of school age (approx 5-17 years)
When is it?
- Starting on the 26th February, this course will run for 5 weeks 10am - midday every Thursday, ending on the 26th March. If you are interested in doing this course but this date doesn't work for you, please email/call on the below contact details and we can add you to a waiting list for the next course.
Where is it?
- This course will take place in the Balfour Hospital. Attendees are to congregate in the Main Reception Area where you will be collected and taken to our booked room.
