Waitangi Dinner-Dance 2026 - 14th February 2026

The Committee of the New Zealand Society Scotland warmly invites you to our upcoming Waitangi Day Dinner-Dance... with a lovely twist!

This year, as we gather to honour Te Tiriti o te Waitangi, we also embrace the spirit of connection and aroha (love) that February brings. It’s a time to reflect on a pivotal moment in our shared history, and to celebrate our enduring ties to Aotearoa New Zealand through kai (food), waiata (song), kanikani (dance), and manaakitanga (hospitality and kindness).

Whether you're reconnecting with old friends or forging new bonds, we look forward to welcoming you to an evening that’s both meaningful and memorable — with just a hint of romance in the air.

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a glass of pink fizz - a sparkling nod to Valentine’s Day, setting the tone for an evening of celebration and connection. The evening will begin with a performance from the ever- popular Ngāti Rānana, Aotearoa’s London-based cultural group, followed by a delicious 3-course dinner. Band, Fiesta Red will have us up on the floor rocking to floor-filling pop favourites and ceilidh dances.

Non-Members: £59
Children age 14 and under: £29

Double Room: £90 for double occupancy

Single Room: £60 for single occupancy
