New Year's Open House @ New York Improv Theater
New York Improv Theater (home to EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH Improv Comedy) offers weekly shows and classes, live from Times Square / Hell's Kitchen, New York Theater District. 2026 marks 24 years of professional comedy shows, live from Times Square NYC and touring nationwide.
On Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, the New York Improv Theater invites you to audit a day of improv comedy, starting with our 12:30 class (usually $50pp and followed by the 3pm show (usually $25pp). The ONLY catch is the 2 drink minimum for the 3pm show. The Broadway Comedy Club offers a number of food and drinks options starting 30 minutes before showtime.

Walt Frasier, Artistic Director
With over 30 years of experience in theater, comedy, and television, Walt Frasier is the Artistic Director of Improv Theater LLC, a leading edutainment center known for its high-impact comedy shows and workshops. His extensive career includes performing comedy sketches on MTV’s Stankervision, Late Nite with David Letterman, TruTV’s Friends of the People, and HBO’s Pause with Sam Jay. As an actor, Walt has appeared on NBC’s Blacklist, CBS’s Blue Bloods, USA’s Royal Pains, Netflix’s Lilyhammer, and NICK’s Naked Brothers Band, in addition to numerous commercials, industrials, and live performances worldwide.
