Experience emotions through a new lens.
This programme brings together a selection of films that explore the raw and complex spectrum of human emotion. Some are shaped or reimagined through artificial intelligence, while others are grounded in distinctly human perspectives. Together, these works challenge how we see, feel, and understand emotion in a rapidly changing world.
Curated by Amal Tinti, a student on the MA in Ethnographic and Documentary Film based at UCL East, alongside UCL students Stella Yeboah and Gabriel Ansah.
A Q&A with one of the filmmakers will follow the screening, with free drinks provided afterwards in the foyer at One Pool Street. This project was made possible through the Community Seed Engagement Fund and developed in collaboration with the New Black Film Collective.
This screening is part of the UCL East Community Cinema, a series of free screenings on Wednesday evenings with films specially selected by our students, academics and community partners.
