Since 2014, experimental dance collective Young Boy Dancing Group has been creating site-specific live work, characterised by intense and genre-defying physical performances that blur the lines between dance, sculpture and ritual. Their work has been described as “immersive studies in physical intensity, sensuality, and extreme absurdity” by Spike Magazine.
Following tours across Asia and Australia this year, YBDG return to London with a new “ballet of structured improvisation”, developed together with local dancers, to accompany their exhibition Feet at NEVEN (27 November – 20 December 2025).
Previous performances include Schinkel Pavilion (Berlin), Performance Space (NYC), Perrrformat (Zurich), Rhizome (NYC), OCD Chinatown (NYC), Mendes Wood DM (Sao Paulo), O’Flaherty’s (NYC), Roskilde Festival, Baltic Triannial (Tallinn), Athens Biennale, Kunstraum (London), Yvonne Lambert (Berlin), and the 2015 Venice Biennale, amongst other venues. This is their first major performance in London since 2017.
