This gentle 90-minute workshop offers a calm, supportive space to slow down, reset, and reconnect with your body. Designed as a wellbeing-focused session rather than an exercise class, it introduces yoga as a therapeutic tool for balance, grounding and relaxation.
This is a brand-new workshop and the first time this session is being offered. It has been carefully developed by Katie Malley, a qualified yoga teacher, therapist and trauma-informed practitioner, with specialist training in Accessible Yoga (Jivana Heyman) and Yoga for Everyone (Dianne Bondy).
The group will be kept small, with a maximum of 8 participants, to ensure a safe, comfortable and supportive environment where individual needs can be respected.
The session draws on trauma-informed and accessible yoga practices to support nervous system regulation and emotional steadiness. It is suitable for complete beginners and for those who may not usually attend yoga classes.
This is not a workout or fast-paced yoga class. There is no expectation to be flexible or experienced. All practices will be adaptable, with options offered throughout.
Yoga mats, two yoga blocks, a strap and a blanket for relaxation will be provided.
You’re very welcome to bring anything else that helps you feel comfortable, such as an extra blanket, cushion or eye pillow.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in, and bring a bottle of water.
This workshop is gentle and low-impact, however it may not be suitable for everyone.
Your wellbeing and safety are prioritised at all times.
Please note that all bookings are non-refundable. Due to limited spaces, cancellations cannot be refunded or transferred to another date. If you are unable to attend, please let me know in advance.
To maintain a calm and contained atmosphere, please arrive on time. Once the session has started, late entry is not possible as this can disturb others.
Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before the start time, as there is no waiting area and the space will still be being set up.
By attending, you confirm that you have read and understood this information and accept responsibility for your own wellbeing during the session.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your individual needs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch before the event.
